The season officially begins in the fall and practices begin in mid-August. Games will begin in September and end in November.
How are teams formed?
Prospector Soccer Club will create as many recreational teams as are needed, depending on the number of registered recreational players. Each player is
assigned to a team based on age and gender, with the age levels divided into seven groups: U6 (co-ed), U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, and U19. For more
information on how teams are assigned, please see our Rules and Regulations.
When are games and practices?
Games are played on Saturday’s starting September 9th and practices are held 1-3 times during the week. (As set by the coach with input from the parents.)
What do I bring to registration?
1) Official copy of birth certificate (even if player is returning from last year!). Passport or military birth certificate also acceptable.
2) Photograph of player (size of a quarter coin or about 1 in. by 1 in.); self-adhesive mini-pictures from school portraits are perfect; player must not be
wearing a hat or sunglasses.
3) Registration fee of $125.00 cash or check only. (Registration fee includes a complimentary picture portrait of player, team picture, and a participation
trophy.)
When and where is registration?
Recreational registration dates and times will be posted in the spring.
Are Registration Scholarships Available?
Yes, Prospector does offer limited need based partial Scholarships to offset cost of player registration only. Forms will be available at our Walk-in
Registration dates. Please email registrar@prospector.org for more information.
When will I be notified about my child’s team and coach?
Teams are formed in mid July and you should hear from your child's coach by early August.
